can friendship and flirting go together?

Both of you need to be in your limits... If the flirting is one sided, the other person might feel uncomfortable which could lead to drifting apart and probably spoil the friendship.

Here are 2 points to remember:
  1. Know where to draw the line.
  2. Don't get excited by the things he/she says during the conversation as it's just a jolly conversation between 'FRIEND'

Monthsary ♥ din din

It is our 23rd monthsary ♥ We went to Pang's cafe located in Gaya street last night for our monthsary celebration.

There is nothing fancy about this restaurant but the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. One of the few restaurants where I can say that the staff is most pleasant and courteous =)

Usually I wouldn't bother to write a review for a place we have only visited once and had only one plate of food but this cafe deserved a plaudit! The spaghetti carbonara is da best we've ever had, creamy but not greasy. It's fattening but who cares when it tastes good? =P

Loved the lamb, can't get the craving out of my mouth *drooling* And the fries!!!! The best I've ever eaten !!!! This was definitely a satisfying meal. We ♥ it not just because the food was good and reasonably priced, but also because of the ambiance, which is family-friendly and welcoming ♥

stray dogs: poor fate

The issue of dog catching in Msia has become somewhat of a hot topic. I once experienced seeing the DXKK people catching stray dogs and that moment was heart-breaking. Nobody really knows what happens to the stray dogs after they’re caught by dog catcher...They really left the dogs in jungle/hill? Or put them in sleep? Or bury them alive? T_T

I love travelling but I hate flying!

Although I make in average about 3-4 trips each year but I am still not comfortable with flying because I get a reallyyy bad migraine 20 minutes before landing due to the cabin pressure changes..There are a lot of preventive migraine medications such as Panadol active fast but I NEVER took it! Hurmm... I rarely take Panadol because it harms the liver. According to the doctor, Panadol will reside in the body for at least 5 years!! Btw I had once a scary experience landing in a storm. Really freaking me out! I thought my plane was going to crash atm =.=

Disaster!

The saddest thing about betrayal is it comes from a friend/sister. Yea, ''she'' seems nice and trustworthy but THE FACT is she ruined your relationship! Glad that u finally stand out from the crowd and keep the grass cut low to see the ''snake'' and kill it with a smile =)  Guys! Please take note! A friend who flirts with your partner behind your back are the worst kind! Seriously, the girl is a relationship/friendship disaster! No wonder she have multiple Facebook accounts, because she have multiple personalities! Really shame on HER!

Review: Kong: Skull Island

Plot:

A diverse team of scientists, soldiers and adventurers unite to explore a mythical, uncharted island in the Pacific, as dangerous as it is beautiful. Cut off from everything they know, the team ventures into the domain of the mighty Kong, igniting the ultimate battle between man and nature. As their mission of discovery becomes one of survival, they must fight to escape a primal Eden in which humanity does not belong.

Genres : Action | Adventure
Running time : 1 hour 58 minutes
Rating : ★★★★★

The film is set in 1973 when William Randa (John Goodman), informs the government that they have detected a previously unknown island and need to investigate it. William recruits a team and asks for a military escort. The characters could have been better for sure XD In addition to Kong, there's other creatures like Skull crawlers, pterosaur and giant spider. Speaking of action scenes, I think it's way much better then Godzilla. The graphic design is so authentic and extraordinary. The actors in this film were great especially John C. Reilly's character. I like his portrayal of his character and how his personal storyline progressed =)

The film was a great roller-coaster ride and had me on the edge of my seat pretty much the entire time that I was watching it. I truly vvv entertained with this film. Probably this is the best monster movie I've seen it in years. Go feast your eyes on this flick guys!

One last thing, stay until the end of credits sequence! Everyone left the theater except me and boyfie =P ( hint: I can't wait for 2020's epic clash, Godzilla vs. Kong )

C.N.Y - The awkward moment!

There have be a lottt of traditions for CNY, friends&family re-unions, distributing and receiving ang pow, lion dance performance and gamble!!! It is very common to see the Chinese gamble during CNY, even for those who do not normally gamble =P Oh ya! Beware of the blood-provoking questions asked by your friends/relatives lol.

Typical question --- When are you getting married? Urghh Chinese culture!  Grrr~ I hate this question! In my experience, if it’s asked by a close friend or relatives, and they’re asking it with concern and listen to my response respectfully, that’s fine. I will respond them cheerfully and make some vague statement. But if being asked by distant relatives or random friends, my typical response is remain silent and smile XD It gets really awkward after that =X I knew someday the question will transforms into another one like... when are you having kids? =.=

There was a joke popular once.

At every family marriage he attended, Jack's 'concerned' elderly aunts and uncles would come up to him, nudge him and tell "Hey! You're next!!". This came to a stop when at a family funeral, Jack walked up to them, nudged them and said "Hey! You're next!!"

P/S: I’m already in a committed relationship and marriage has never been a huge rush for me =)

Foodporn: Pork burger!!!!

Pork burger @ Pusas The Smokehouse

This place has gone viral recently on Facebook. We went here last night for the first time and I will certainly be coming back!!!

The burger comes with pork patty, lettuce and bacon. The cost only RM 8.00 ( ala carte ), the combo set ( comes with fries and drink ) cost RM 11.90! Affordable and valuable!!

The pork patty was succulent and it went well with the crispy fried pork belly. The fries are thick and real! Meet my satisfaction!!! This place is always filled with people due to its popularity and you'll have to wait for tables since the place isn't that big as well. My advice is better come on a weekday to avoid the crowd =D Highlyyy recommendation to anybody who loves pork burger!!

New Year's Eve: Asiatique The Riverfront

Are you looking for the best place to spend New Year's Eve? Well, Central World will be very crowded on New Year's eve and of course it is well known for counting down but trust me, Asiatique The Riverfront will give you a unique and more relaxing riverside atmosphere =) Asiatique is also a great place for tourists who like to buy local brand feature like Naraya and BKK bag. We took a taxi  ( not recommended ) to there. New Year's Eve is the busiest night of the year for taxis and uber, plus the roads leading to Asiatique tend to have heavyyyy traffic jams. You can get there via the BTS and ferry shuttle. Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and jump on the free shuttle at the end of the pier. That's the easiest and cheapest way to get there =D

A huge ferris wheel ( Asiatique's icon ferris wheel with 42 gondolas ) is very shine and bright which capture our attraction. We spent 300baht for each person on the ''Asiatique sky''.

You can see the stunning city lights of Bangkok city, and several cruise ships passing by the river.

Life is like a Ferris wheel. You have to get past your fear to enjoy the view =)

There are lot of activities to do including foot massages, fish spa and rides ... etc.

Finally tried this Thai classic.. Mango sticky rice! Yumzz

We only spent about 2 hours there and that was enough.Overall this is a nice area to walk around with stalls, boutique shops and restaurants. P/S: Beware of pickpockets.

Bangkok : Hello Kitty House

I finally visited Hello Kitty house after reading various posts online and I was expecting the cafe to be very busy and yes indeed when I arrived, the cafe was sooo packed with tourists. The Hello Kitty house consisted of 3 floors, in which ground and first floor used for dining while basement floor is used for souvenir/merchandise store.

Hello Kitty fans can't miss this. Hello Kitty house has many nice spot for picture taking especially if you are a Hello Kitty fan.

The whole concept is soooo pinkish

Service was reasonable and we did not have to wait too long for our food =) A little pricey but well worth it since I knew I wouldn't be able to come back since I'm from Malaysia lol.

The hot chocolate have Hello Kitty art on top and the rainbow mile crepe was soooo irresistible!

Many photo taking opportunities all over the Hello Kitty house.

Sadly we didn't went to the basement of Hello Kitty House where the shop and spa are located =,(

The second floor was my favorite level! A spacious dining area with Hello Kitty head figure on the chairs. Cuteness overloaded tuuu!!!

The Hello Kitty House is luxuriously decorated with pinkish themed designs, down to everyyy lil detail.

This place represents the love of Kitty Lover's. All the stuff and decorations were soooo adorable. If you are a passionate Hello Kitty fan, this is the place to be!!

emotional post...

Potatoes... It likes seeds, nuts and mealworms =,(

It was fine over the past weeks before I went to Bangkok, no loss of appetite... but I found it lying cold and stiff once I back from the vacation... It died because of fighting with Stupid ( another hamster ). Usually they don't fight and Potatoes was a vvvv tame hamster but Idk why and when they fought with each other *deep sigh* I know Potatoes is just a hamster but I still couldn't get over it yet...

Little Greece in Bangkok

Santorini Park was the reason which brought me to Hua Hin and yeah...the location may not be so accessible if you are looking for public transport. So if you are travelling with family or friends, I suggest you rent a van or sign a package with a travel agent. The benefit is you just have to limit your visit time and no need worry about the transport. The package for Hua Hin one day trip is 4000baht for 12 hours. An extra charge of 200baht per hour is imposed if you add time. You may contact this person Mr. Roong +6681-493-7824, Email: RoongSAYAM@gmail.com He can be contacted via whatsapp and his English is quite good.

Ferris Wheel, the landmark of Santorini Park
They separate the water park from the amusement park. Not sure how much was the entrance fee for water park but the entrance fee for main park is 150baht for each person and doesn't include ferris wheel ride nor activities. It wasn't too crowded and we spent approximately 2 hours plus here and had an amazing time exploring the lil streets and shops. It really makes me feel like I'm in Greece lol! Lots of photo opportunities around the park tho! There are some international brand shops ( eg: Converse, Puma, Nike, Adidas etc...) and we bought a couple tee from Marvel shop =D

We eat every 3-4 hours. p/s: to keep us full, focused, and keep our blood sugar balanced so we have more energy to walk XD The ice cream melts quickly because of the hot weather,

Proudly wearing this shirt and walking around Santorini Park lol
We go there on a weekday so the crowd wasn't that bad but the hot weather really bit unbearable. *Tips : bring sunblock, cap, umbrella or whatever that can shield you from the sun because the weather was extremelyyy hot!!
