I CUT MY OWN HAIR ( EASY RUBBER BAND METHOD )

In hot weather, long hairs can quickly become a mess and my hairs actually looked typically puffy. So I decided to cut my hair because it's getting hard to maintain =(

but first, lemme take a selfie XD
There were some uneven parts of the cut
Tips: all you needs is 2 hair band, a scissor and a comb. Be sure your hair is clean and free of hair spray or gel. Brush your hair until it's free of knots. Flip hair to the front and tie it with a rubber band. Once the rubber band is in position, cut to length you'd like.

Tadaaa!!! I have a bob now!
Yes, my hair was uneven in the back and many people think I'm silly but I don't care. As long as I'm comfortable with it then OK. Well, with the right tools and patience, I believe that you be able to give yourself a decent cut too =) good luck!

New Year's bucket lists

I haven't made much time for the blog. But I'm back lol. I love to make bucket lists actually because I think it would be fun to come up with a list of activities and goals for the New Year and sum up at the end of the year to see how much did I fulfilled =) Some of my ''goals'' is simple and some is really laughable.

It’s never too late to start planning for bucket list 2018. Just write down what you need to achieve/perform. Most people have the same bucket list like traveling to somewhere, losing weight, achieving the dreams bla bla bla... I encourage you to make a list because It really gives you something to look forward to and accomplish =D HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018 XOXO

New Year's Eve: Asiatique The Riverfront

Are you looking for the best place to spend New Year's Eve? Well, Central World will be very crowded on New Year's eve and of course it is well known for counting down but trust me, Asiatique The Riverfront will give you a unique and more relaxing riverside atmosphere =) Asiatique is also a great place for tourists who like to buy local brand feature like Naraya and BKK bag. We took a taxi  ( not recommended ) to there. New Year's Eve is the busiest night of the year for taxis and uber, plus the roads leading to Asiatique tend to have heavyyyy traffic jams. You can get there via the BTS and ferry shuttle. Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and jump on the free shuttle at the end of the pier. That's the easiest and cheapest way to get there =D

A huge ferris wheel ( Asiatique's icon ferris wheel with 42 gondolas ) is very shine and bright which capture our attraction. We spent 300baht for each person on the ''Asiatique sky''.

You can see the stunning city lights of Bangkok city, and several cruise ships passing by the river.

Life is like a Ferris wheel. You have to get past your fear to enjoy the view =)

There are lot of activities to do including foot massages, fish spa and rides ... etc.

Finally tried this Thai classic.. Mango sticky rice! Yumzz

We only spent about 2 hours there and that was enough.Overall this is a nice area to walk around with stalls, boutique shops and restaurants. P/S: Beware of pickpockets.

Easin Grand Sathorn Hotel @ Bangkok
As 2016 comes to an end, I want to wish you all the best for the coming year. Let’s welcome 2017 with smiles, dreams… and, of course, good pics! At the beginning of each New Year, I pick a few things I want to accomplish or work on throughout the year. Below are my New Year’s resolutions for 2017:

- Put more effort on my online business
- Get in shape and eat healthier *I've gained a lot of weight in the past few months oh no!!
- Drink moreee water
- Spend less and save more for vacation *my goal is to go on a vacation every 6 months =D
- Socialize more *yeah, I'm really bad at socializing =(
- Be more organized
- Appreciate life more *the good days and even the bad and learn from everyday

Blessed to have a good day @ The Venezia, Hua Hin
Actually I have too manyyy new year's resolution. But I narrow them down and change the smaller resolutions into things that just need to get done LOL. They may not be relevant to you, but those are the things I’ve been needing to change for a while, and hopefully give you a bit of motivation. =) Last, but not least, Happy New Year!!!! Cheerss!!!

poor neglected blog =(

I have been soooo busy lately that I have completely neglected my blog! It’s not because there is nothing to post but I have been busy handling other things like online selling =)  I will try to get caught up soon. Feeling lil depressed because of ... my boyfie. Last Friday we had an argument ( small issue actually ).  I always feel so upset after a fight especially when its my fault. We have small arguments occasionally but never lasted longer than one hour. My boyfie is so calm and patient with me all the time. He doesn't get angry at me easily, he is always soooo forgiving of me and I can't understand how or why. I genuinely cannot x_x Sometimes I do things like act stubborn to get my own way and I expect him to be vv angry at me but he isn't... Ughh shall talk about something happy instead. There are exciting times ahead! I'm soooo excited for Christmas!!! It really is the most wonderful time of the year! I'm mainly excited for the lights, Christmas tree, decorations, music ... etc..

blessed birthday

Yes it was my birthday yesterday. My birthday falls on Mid-Autumn festival. =D I’d like to thank you all for the birthday wishes. They’ve come flooding in via Facebook, Whatsapp, Wechat and Instagram. Big warm hugs to you all. I really appreciate it. Well, my favorite birthdays are always spent with boyfie. This year my boyfriend surprised me with a home-cooked dinner.

Wagyu tenderloin steak served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Nothing's better than a home cooked birthday meal made by my amazing boyfie. I love when my boyfie cooks for me. It means a lot more to me than going out to dinner because I know he put time & effort into doing it.

Medium rare steak is the most delicious steak in the world! =D

Tbh the Wagyu steak so succulent and tender.

I love pony/unicorn so boyfie got me a cake that had decorations of pony on it. I don't even want to eat the cake it's too cute.

Another year older and happier. So grateful for everything in my life.

I had a really really lovely day and I’m feeling very loved. I wish myself many more years of joy, love, laughter, health and prosperity.

Our Anniversary ♥

They say that time flies when you're having fun and that's right! Today marks the 1 year anniversary of us. A year that was filled with such wonderful memories ♥ Boyfie picked me up and surprised me with a bouquet of flowers. I was like OMG! Boyfie knew I love anything purple so he requested the florist for a purple themed bonquet. Awww~ so sweet ♥

We went to Tatu cafe at Shangri-La for buffet dinner. ( I like buffet because can eat variety of foods. At a buffet I can actually get small portions of many different types of foods =D ). The staffs are welcoming and so helpful. The foods were replenished vv quick and the seafood served were really fresh.

This is my custom ordered cupcakes for boyfie. Have you ever experienced a coincidence so incredible that it left you stunned? >.< We both were amazed because the colors and design of the bouquet and flowers so similar! I was wondering if telepathy exist because there are times where I am thinking about something and my boyfriend is thinking about the same thing too!

To le boyfie, I really don't know how to tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you. But please know that I never want you to leave me. The love I feel for you grows bigger every day. Every day I have spent with you has been wonderful because you have shown me how much you love me. Thanks for being the happiness of my life. Happy anniversary dear!

Once I was seven years old...

Once I was seven years old...
Seriously I miss being a child because I miss the simplicity of life like I didn't have to worry about anything. I can do something weird for fun like talking to the bears because I was convinced they were a part of me and peoples won't stare at me and question my sanity. I miss falling asleep on the sofa and waking up on my comfy bed. I miss asking adults questions, and thinking that they have all the answers. How silly I was huh? When I was a kid I made kites out of garbage bags, play games such as hide and seek. My most fond memories were going to park and play on the swings =D No doubt that childhood period is the golden period of whole life. My childhood wasn't so blissful but i'm grateful, I wish I'd never grown up... =,)

Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
"Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely."
Once I was seven years old

It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure

Once I was eleven years old, my daddy told me,
"Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely."
Once I was eleven years old

I always had that dream, like my daddy before me
So I started writing songs, I started writing stories
Something about that glory just always seemed to bore me
'Cause only those I really love will ever really know me

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was twenty years old

I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure
'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me, at least those in favor
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
I was writing about everything I saw before me
Once I was twenty years old

Soon we'll be thirty years old, our songs have been sold
We've traveled around the world and we're still roaming
Soon we'll be thirty years old

I'm still learning about life
My woman brought children for me
So I can sing them all my songs
And I can tell them stories
Most of my boys are with me
Some are still out seeking glory
And some I had to leave behind
My brother, I'm still sorry

Soon I'll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-one
Remember life, and then your life becomes a better one
I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once
I hope my children come and visit once or twice a month

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I'll be sixty years old

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me?
Soon I'll be sixty years old

Once I was seven years old, my mama told me,
"Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely."
Once I was seven years old

Once I was seven years old

"Love and Marriage"

A few days ago my best and oldest friends got married. It was a day filled with joy and love ♥ Here are the few things you’ll learn when your best friend gets married, especially if you’re one of the bridesmaids like me. =P

You’ll be almost as worked up about everything going well as the bride herself. You’ll worrying about everything, to excitement, to happiness, and there’ll even be some tears too. It’s all so overwhelming and emotional feelings you’ll go thru on the day is huge. The time before the actual wedding ceremony, you’ll be rushing around making sure every lil thing is going according to plan. After the actual ceremony part is over and you’ll feel a sudden sense of exhaustion. But most of all you’ll feel this incredible sense of joy, pride and love for your friend as she embarks on this new chapter of her life. It’s not everyday that you watch a friend you’ve known since you were 5 years old get married and start a new life. Yes, the emotion may get to you, but you’ll want to relive each moment with her as you’re just so proud! Plus, playing such an important part in your best friend’s wedding will create special memories for the both of you. ♥

Shui Khen & Edwina

The day we’ve been dreaming about is finally here. Today is the first day of your new life with him. I am honored to serve as your bridesmaid today. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love. I hope he fulfills all his vows and I hope he promises more as time goes by and I want you to know that no matter what, I’ll always be there for you. I wish you a lifetime of laughs, an eternity of love, and an abundance of joy and happiness. May the glow of love and happiness from your marriage day be with you for the rest of your lives. Amen.

Love,
Minzi

遇见幸福300天♥

Time passes so quickly and it's our 300days together already. So many things happened throughout these days, both happy and unhappy moments. But guess what? We still managed to pull thru this together. We quarreled, we teared, we learnt and we treasured. We made it thru all these despite having numerous quarrels and problems. "All guys are the same," is what I told you on our first met. Today, I take that back, because you are so special and best of all, you are mine! I'm really vvvvvv blessed to have such an awesome person as my boyfie, my buddy and my soulmate. xoxo #LeslieWee

Wedding ''door games''

For Chinese couples, door games are a fun and lighthearted tradition to look forward to wedding celebration. The groom arrive with the brides bouquet and his male entourage at the brides home and the bride will wait in her room and her bridesmaids will begin the door games. The games can get very creative, embarrassing and the groom will not be allowed to see his bride until he and his male entourage have passed all the games. There are more games to play and it all depends on the bridesmaids. I have asked the bride on what type of door games would she likes to play and I have complied her ideas to few games. XD

Melting heart
( 爱融化了 )

Have a key hidden inside the ice, the groom must melt it without breaking it and speak out 10 reasons why you love the bride. This looks like simple but not really. All the reasons must be truth and from groom's heart.

Taste of life
( 甜酸苦辣 )

Marriage is about going thru the good or bad together, challenges in life which have to be faced by the couple together and a bit of pleasant surprises from time to time to spice up the relationship. So a marriage go thru the following 4 flavors: sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy. This is test the groom’s ability to cope with what marriage may bring.

Poopy pampers
( 大便pampers )

Fill a pampers with melted chocolate, minced banana and peanut spread. The groom and his male entourage have to lick the ''poopy'' out of the diaper.

Balloon pop
( 踏破气球找钥匙 )

Pop the balloon and get the key.

Q & A
( 爱的测验 )

The groom must correctly answer the questions asked by the bridesmaids about the bride and their relationship. For every incorrect answer, the groom need to pay ''angpow$''. The money is then equally distributed among the bridesmaids.

Declaration of love
( 爱的宣言 )

This is to test the groom's sincerity and love for the bride.

More ideas of the games:

✦  Head point to the chair and make 10 turns around the chair, and walk a straight line.
✦  Line the boys up, The first guy must pass a piece of seaweed to the next guy with his lips until it reaches the last guy in line.
✦  Ask the groom and the groomsmen to put their feet into a large pot of ice water. There will be some coins in the pot. They will be asked to pick up the coins using their feet and toes only.
✦  Head point to the chair and make 10 turns around the chair, and walk a straight line.
✦  Wearing the slippers with the knobby bits and do 20 times star jumps.
✦  Name all the bridesmaids.

Time has passed so fast and in just a blink of an eye, today marks our 8th month together ♥ It is not very long since I have known you but I have given you the best position in my heart and my life. Spending everyday with you is just so awesome. I'll never get sick of seeing you everyday.

I know that there would be times wherein I would fall short of your expectations, but I promise to do my best. I promise to shower you so much love that you would be drowning in it (well in a good way).

I love you

My kind of saturday night

When you think about weekend, what springs to mind? Most likely making trips to Kundasang? Karambunai? Whatever! In fact, pretty much everything you do over the long weekend will involve getting in a car and going somewhere. In other words, there’s going to be traffic jam. EVERYWHEREEE! Boyfie came and picked me up around 8pm and we headed to Imago. The parking area of Imago was sooooo packed but luckily we found the parking lot nearby the entrance. Oh ya the AirAsia Travel Fair 2016 kicks off in Imago. ( no wonder this place is crowded with people ) Travellers can enjoy 20% off base fares for all seats on all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights to over 100 destinations throughout all of its route network across 20 countries, with 0 fuel surcharges!! The promotions comprise an additional RM200 off flight bookings from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore when they purchase 2 seats, as well as buy 1 free 1 for flights from KK-KL-Perth. We headed straight for dinner at Dragon i. The average portions size were a bit small and pricey but delicious. Well, we generally watch movie after having our dinner. Captain America : Civil War has finally been released so we headed to Suria for the movie.

I stepping out of the car, filled with excitement and walked into the theater. I've never seen any of the Iron Man movies. The only Marvel film I have ever seen was the Captain America, Ant Man and Spider Man. The movie isn't boring, I'm just knackered! I have desperately tried to stay awake but find myself nodding in and out and then lose some chunks of the film =.=

I admire Black Widow soooo much! I think it's a mix of her being very pretty and Her battle reflexes are soooooo good. She doesn't have any supernatural power or gadget suit. She's a human, just extremely well-trained, kind of like Batman.

Spider Man and Ant Man are what made this movie good. They always make fight scene so funny. All of the Avengers were fighting each other for the moral principles they stood for and then Spider Man and Ant Man were just hanging around like “Oh yeah I wanna be a part of the Avengers brawl” Btw Andrew Garfield did an amazing job at portraying Peter Parker, why he being replaced by Tom Holland??? Tom Holland looks too young. Sorry to say but he's toooo young!

The story was diff from the typical superhero story line we've seen in just about every movie. In Civil War, Iron Man and Captain America create two separate teams that prepare to fight each other over a government act that would have superheroes reveal their true identities. The fight scenes were really spectacular especially the battle in the airport. The fight scene was quite intense. Everyone else played their role pretty much as expected. Overall very impressed and I would give it ★★★★☆

By the time I reached home it was almost 130am. So this is how my Saturday night ended =D

Being an only child ...

If you're an only child, all the attention of your parents is focused towards you. You are the center of their lives. Being an only child has its perks too. I didn't have to worry about favoritism and I had plenty of privacy and independence. My mom was vv anti-social and rarely allowed me go to someone else's house so I learned how to entertain myself. I never even had any interactions with my cousins, so all in all, I grew up alone. I got really tired of the ''千金, you must be so spoiled...etc'' comment. I wasn't spoiled! We were not wealthy and NOOOO, I didn't get whatever I wanted whenever I wanted it, but I did get a lot of attention and that was pretty nice.

I never knew what would be good or bad about having siblings until my dad got cancer and I needed to get some health advice/finance assistance. At first I thought how much easier it would be if there were someone close by to help out. My notions about this were quickly disabused by social workers, who told me it was actually a good thing I didn't have to deal with siblings. Apparently it can actually make a tough situation even worse. There can be a lot of arguing when there's more than one person involved in the decision making.

I prefer to travel solo and always get the surprised reaction when I tell people that I'm going alone. → http://minzimandy915.blogspot.my/2015/07/solo-backpacker.html I guess maybe only child are more comfortable being alone since we are more used to it. I like to have my own way and not have to confer with other ppl when deciding what to do. Honestly, it isn't bad being an only child, at least I have learned how to deal with being alone most of the time, and I'm quite used to it. =)

Hello April

It's a new month with new opportunities. Welcome April 2016 and lets make this an awesome month =D Yay I'll be flying to KL this Saturday. Although April 4th is Tomb Sweeping Day, but my relatives decided to sweep the tombs on this Sunday =) KK weather has been so persistently hot and hazy recently and my skin was becoming dull and dry =( The hot and dry season has begun and is expected to last until end of June. One of the best ways to avoid heat related illness is to drink plenty of water. If you don't like the taste of plain water, try to add some slice of lemon/orange. Other fluids do count but water is the best because water hydrates faster. =D

priceless memories

I am not a professional photographer but I like to click pictures =D Nowadays we can just touch/click a button on our smart phones to snap a pic and see exactly what the pic looks like. I'm thankful for the new technology because I love taking pictures and I appreciate that I'm able to delete the ones that didn't turn out like I had hoped. I'm capturing memories with each click whether it's a single pic of boyfie with a cheesy smile, a picture of boyfie and I enjoying a date night or a picture of bunch of friends together at somewhere. Each photo is vv important because the memory is priceless. Currently my phone has 1,333 pictures and I'll never delete those pics from my phone even though I've uploaded them all to my external hard drive. When I'm having a insomnia, I'll just scroll thru my photo album and reminisce. =,) The best part of pictures is that even the people in the photo change, the memory it contains never will. =)

food of love

The buffet station at Ming Garden Hotel. Friendly staffs, great atmosphere.
The food was delicious but not much choice.

Went for buffet dinner at Golden Dew Bistro @ Ming Garden with boyfie yesterday. Everyday is special on it's own but today is especially special as we celebrate our ''daysary'' ( something like anniversary but it is not counted by years but using days ). I forgot to take the picture of main course because I was super hungry, so here is the leftover serving.

Smashing and creamy pumpkin soup!!! Yummylicious!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty this soup was.
Whole-grain bread with butter, soft and slightly sweet.
Paddle pop! Paddle pop! ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬ Shaved ice and ice cream.
took a picture of him while he was eating.
