Dazzling fireworks countdown @ Taipei 101

Taipei 101 is the iconic the skyscraper in Taiwan’s capital, I heard so much of their amazing fireworks before and finally I got the chance to see it myself. The show was about 6 minutes plus but really spectacular!!!! T.T It made my 2019 New Year Eve the most memorable one in my life. If you stay at Taipei during the New Year Eve, don't miss the chance to watch the magnificent fireworks show in Taipei 101.

Well, the streets are sooooo crowded.  You must get ready for crowds though because hundred thousands of people will be out on that night. But if you want to avoid the crowd lining up in front of Taipei 101, you may consider stay at the 5-stars hotel Grand Hyatt Taipei ( 台北君悦酒店 ). The hotel just located right next to Taipei 101 and has an unobstructed view of Taipei 101.

Another great viewing platform is Elephant Mountain Hiking Trail ( 象山步道 ) which is free and open to all visitors. But the trail can get relatively crowded too. You can  take Taipei MRT ( Xinyi Line ), alight at Xiangshan Station and leave at no. 2 exit. Just ontinue walking alongside the edge of the park, turn left and go straight, You will come across a temple, then you will see the entrance for Xiangshan hiking trail. 

Besides the fireworks, the countdown party feature the on-stage appearance of a lot of celebrities on other side of Taipei 101.

We got a spot in front of Taipei 101 and watched the fireworks bursting from the building. The pictures were blurry as it was raining + plenty of smoke from the fireworks.

Crowds of people heading home after the countdown,  it gets reallyyy crowded at MRT station. Luckily our hotel room just a distance walk from 101 world trade centre =D 

This is my first time seeing such a beautiful firework and I wish this year 2019 will be as dazzling as the fireworks! XOXO

Monthsary ♥ din din

It is our 23rd monthsary ♥ We went to Pang's cafe located in Gaya street last night for our monthsary celebration.

There is nothing fancy about this restaurant but the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. One of the few restaurants where I can say that the staff is most pleasant and courteous =)

Usually I wouldn't bother to write a review for a place we have only visited once and had only one plate of food but this cafe deserved a plaudit! The spaghetti carbonara is da best we've ever had, creamy but not greasy. It's fattening but who cares when it tastes good? =P

Loved the lamb, can't get the craving out of my mouth *drooling* And the fries!!!! The best I've ever eaten !!!! This was definitely a satisfying meal. We ♥ it not just because the food was good and reasonably priced, but also because of the ambiance, which is family-friendly and welcoming ♥

Happy Birthday WeeWee!!

Today was a reallyyy exhausting day for me. But it was definitely worth it. I lied to boyfie that I knocked off from hectic work and I was going home but in fact I drove from Putatan to Kepayan 333 Plaza to collect the helium balloon, then drove all the way down to Inanam Laut to get the cake and brought the cake and balloon to Vino - Vino at KK Times Square. I picked this bistro because the ambience is great and I thought that boyfie would like it too =) I hurried to set the table with everything because I'm almost unfailingly on time. I went to his house around 7:45pm, he asked me 去哪里吃? ( go where to eat? ) and I answered him 我想想下啊~ ( let me think about it ). I made him think that I didn't make any preparation for his birthday ( I'm good at pretending =P ). I saw his disappointment, his facial expression says it all =D I teased him 我们随便吃啦, 可是吃之前我们去下Riverson那里抓Pokemon诶!听说那里有Drogonite哦! ( We ''cincai'' eat la! but let's go catch some Pokemon at Riverson before dinner! I heard that Dragonite appeared in there ). He really thought I did not plan anything for his birthday =D I parked my car at the Riverson and we walked down from the car, I pulled him in a little closer and walked to the bistro, 这里是吃什么的? I asked him curiously. I opened the door before he talked, walked in quickly towards the smoke-free dining area, he is following me too. I stopped walking and ask him to look for ''his table'' He was ''har?'' He blushed when he saw the decorations.

Throughout the entire surprise boyfie was happily smiling =D I secretly planned this entire surprise for about one month, what to buy, what to decorate, which place will be good for dining and etc.

Custom ordered rich chocolate cake for boyfie. This delicious cake is topped with assorted chocolate. The cake was slightly sweet but had a vv great texture. Last but not least, I feel blessed on a daily basis to be with you, especially on this day. And I thank the Lord for bringing you into my life. I hope you had a good day!
