Review: dog grooming clipper from Shopee

Malaysia started enforcing the MCO ( movement contro order ) on 18/03/2020, only selected sectors/industries that were deemed essential for the country can operate =( Pet shops are not classified as essential businesses, that's why they are closed during the MCO, but during the 2nd phase of the MCO, pet shop is allowed to open but limited opening hours and only twice per week. My dog Meng Char has a long coat that tangles easily, and it's time for her to get a full grooming. But unfortunately the number of available slot for grooming also very limited =(  I want to try giving her a trim, that's y I bought a clipper from Shopee =D

My ''pink'' parcel arrived today at 7pm. Took a quite long time to arrive but that was due to COVID-19 related delays with the post XD

Very well packaged.

MONEY LESSONS taught by COVID-19

Like many others around the world, COVID-19 indeed had an impact on our country ( Malaysia ). During this challenging time, the number of people losing their job have increased, some employers are beginning to cut salaries ... etc. This is a situation where I think the economies can be under performing for some time =(

The COVID-19 taught me the important money lesson. It's SOOOO important because we can't predict future. Saving money for emergency fund can protect you in the event of a financial emergency. And your emergency fund should contain enough money to cover at least 3 months of expenses.

During this difficult time, don't be addicted to spending money. Always keep this sentences in your mind --- need is logical and want is emotional, so BUY WHAT YOU NEED, NOT WHAT YOU WANT. Don't spend money on anything that is non-essential and always remember to get your budget under control. Good luck!

I CUT MY OWN HAIR ( EASY RUBBER BAND METHOD )

In hot weather, long hairs can quickly become a mess and my hairs actually looked typically puffy. So I decided to cut my hair because it's getting hard to maintain =(

but first, lemme take a selfie XD
There were some uneven parts of the cut
Tips: all you needs is 2 hair band, a scissor and a comb. Be sure your hair is clean and free of hair spray or gel. Brush your hair until it's free of knots. Flip hair to the front and tie it with a rubber band. Once the rubber band is in position, cut to length you'd like.

Tadaaa!!! I have a bob now!
Yes, my hair was uneven in the back and many people think I'm silly but I don't care. As long as I'm comfortable with it then OK. Well, with the right tools and patience, I believe that you be able to give yourself a decent cut too =) good luck!

Every girl dreams of her wedding...

Every girl dreams of her wedding at some point in life. I always say I'm not going to get married, but somehow the idea of getting married was occasionally present =) Probably in someday I will acquiesce and settle down. I don't want a fancy wedding because I don't want to spent a bunch of money for the ceremony. My dream wedding is very simple, with a beautiful white flowing crystals sewn dress. Less than 50 guests. Just some closet friends and relatives XD Somewhere outside with nature... ( Preferably Haven maybe XD ) and all the food will be dessert buffet. Basically, three words to describe, natural, tasteful and simple.

Dazzling fireworks countdown @ Taipei 101

Taipei 101 is the iconic the skyscraper in Taiwan’s capital, I heard so much of their amazing fireworks before and finally I got the chance to see it myself. The show was about 6 minutes plus but really spectacular!!!! T.T It made my 2019 New Year Eve the most memorable one in my life. If you stay at Taipei during the New Year Eve, don't miss the chance to watch the magnificent fireworks show in Taipei 101.

Well, the streets are sooooo crowded.  You must get ready for crowds though because hundred thousands of people will be out on that night. But if you want to avoid the crowd lining up in front of Taipei 101, you may consider stay at the 5-stars hotel Grand Hyatt Taipei ( 台北君悦酒店 ). The hotel just located right next to Taipei 101 and has an unobstructed view of Taipei 101.

Another great viewing platform is Elephant Mountain Hiking Trail ( 象山步道 ) which is free and open to all visitors. But the trail can get relatively crowded too. You can  take Taipei MRT ( Xinyi Line ), alight at Xiangshan Station and leave at no. 2 exit. Just ontinue walking alongside the edge of the park, turn left and go straight, You will come across a temple, then you will see the entrance for Xiangshan hiking trail.

Besides the fireworks, the countdown party feature the on-stage appearance of a lot of celebrities on other side of Taipei 101.

We got a spot in front of Taipei 101 and watched the fireworks bursting from the building. The pictures were blurry as it was raining + plenty of smoke from the fireworks.

Crowds of people heading home after the countdown,  it gets reallyyy crowded at MRT station. Luckily our hotel room just a distance walk from 101 world trade centre =D

This is my first time seeing such a beautiful firework and I wish this year 2019 will be as dazzling as the fireworks! XOXO

Review: Bumblebee ( 2018 )

Synopsis outline:

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

I'm actually kind of not interested in this movie but I decided to give this a watch because of positive vibes from Facebooker. Although I was doubtful at first whether it'll turn out to be bored or not. But at the end, I left the cinema with a satisfied smiley face lol =D

The film may have less action but it has enough action sequences to keep you on the edge of your seat because there’s a lot of emotional scene. The entire concept of the movie is about Charlie ( 18 y/o  teenager girl ) and her robot ( Bumblebee ) and how she starts to connect with the robot ( Bumblebee ) in a earnest way. It's really heartwarming seeing strong bonding between them. Many critics will say that the story line of the movie very cheesy, but for me I didn't really see any problem with that.

This is the best transformer series I ever watched and Bumblebee is my best among all transformers. Indeed a perfect mix of classic nostalgic 80's songs and vibes. The ending was great and I absolutely loveee it!

Rating: PG-13

Go into debt for something so stupid and then end up owing people FXCK YOU LA!

Money is something very personal and a sensitive topic. I personally don't like to have any money issue with friends because I don't want any conflicts between our friendship over money. But I actually don't mind lending money to others if I have the ability BUT it depends on the situation and whom I lend to. *ONLY IF* it comes down to a close friend, that really really really needing money for something important konon, I will consider and reconsider carefully before lending him/her the money.

For an example there is a friend of mine who constantly borrows RM50-RM200++ from different people and she's borrowed RM50 ( a few times ) from me as well. *I find money borrowers get into the habit of constantly borrowing money with different people* Well, I have never seen her return any of the money I lent her even after she gets married. Now no one lends her even a dime because we all knew that she never ever pays anyone back but yet she takes all her money and invest on her other half. So the moral of this story is: Don't get yourself in a state of constant lending.

A few months ago one of my friend lost his job and he asked me if he could borrow money. I feel pity for him and I said yes since it's not large amounts of money. BUT It's been 5 months now since this happened and I still haven't had any of the money back. This is starting to annoy me because he's been making this promise for months and I'm starting to get a bit dubious as to whether I will get the money. It can be difficult to *TAGIH HUTANG* from a friend ... Ehh, I care about your feeling and I don't want you to feel awkward. And please ... DON'T TAKE MY KINDNESS FOR GRANTED!!! You should only borrow money if you absolutely need it for survival, NOT for the stupidest reasons like spending money on dates or buying material things!!! Where the hell do YOU develop these attitudes from??? Don't be surprise I make up an excuse the next time when you asking for my help. Seriously, I work hard  to earn money and I have the right to say yes or no to the YOU without a guilt. kthxbye!!!
