Karma is real, weather you are religious or not, if you are wrong, you're wrong and at some point you will pay. Don't worry, karma will catch up with your ex. You will get over this and find someone who treats you well and you will be in a happy relationship. It might take some time, but you will get there. I have had a lot of things happen like this so I do believe in karma and that it comes back 2-3 fold. Remember what goes around, comes around. =)
